Offset Your Carbon FootPrint

Many people are interested in how to reduce their carbon footprint, often expressed as the amount of land it would take to absorb emissions produced or to replace the natural resources used; and commonly calculated in metric tons of CO₂ per year.

ERTHNXT lists some of the best (and still evolving) carbon calculators at right. We also offer a way for individuals and businesses to offset carbon emissions produced from travel. Ours is the only offset program in which children plant the trees and all of these trees are planted in the U.S.

Offset Your Travel

Travel is an everyday part of life. You can offset the carbon generated by your air travel by sponsoring trees to be planted by ERTHNXT’s Trees for the 21st Century program. Simply choose your flight type below:

The carbon offset capability of the trees planted through our program are determined based on information from the U.S. Department of Energy. From these calculations, on average, one tree can sequester 1,580 pounds of CO₂ when planted as a seedling over the course of a 50-year lifespan. Using standard flight conditions and speed, flying 2,500 miles will generate approximately 1,580 pounds of CO₂.
